So here’s the deal. I’ve been using Young Living’s products for like 6 years now and love them (I’m sure you’re shocked by this statement). I have been actively pursuing the business side for the past two months. Basically, last month I was trying to figure out what worked and what just doesn’t work. You know what I found that just doesn’t really work? Home classes. I would write out invitations and invite folks to either a party or a class and would only get a few attendees. I mean some were much better than others. BUT, hand writing out 30 invites for a class and only having like 4 people show up (a few of them being family) can be discouraging. However, I still continued and had a few classes last month that didn’t result in that many people signing up.

This month however I taught a class where I had 5 people in attendance (none of them were my family, and everyone either signed up or purchased something. It was really good. The issue is, how do you do that again when you have already used up your warm market contacts for classes? I’ve decided to try a new approach.

I’m trying a Facebook class on Wednesday the 16th. I am going to teach the class with a sweet lady in my upline named Cris Campbell. She’s amazing, she is a certified aroma therapist and knows just about all there is to know about the oils. Every time I speak with her, I learn something new. The class is about how when you have a Happy Baby, you will have a Happy Mommy. Seeing as though I am not a mom yet, I am very excited to have Cris help me out a bit. I know the oils and the other natural products that YL has are amazing for kiddos!

I have never held a class on FB before. The idea is kind of strange. Basically, you have people go to the FB invite that you sent out at the time of the party and you give them a phone number to call into. While you talk about the different items, you post in the party the slide or whatever it is that you wish for them to see.

It’s crazy though, I sent out the invite last week and as of today, I have 46 people coming!!! Holy moly, maybe this is the best way to invite folks to learn about healthy lifestyles! I am not going to jinx myself, but who knows! Social media may be the key to really making my dreams come true. I am seriously nervous, but am excited at the same time. I plan on having another one later on in the month for Baby Boomers as a request from Doug’s mom because she always tells me about her creaky knees and wants more info on what will support healthy muscles and joints.

I’m half way from hitting the next level in the organization and I am so amped to get to the next level and stay there. Did I mention that I have an amazing business builder already in my downline that is killing it? She’s awesome. Her line underneath me does about 22k a month on average in sales! She’s the reason why I know I can do this too. I couldn’t be more thankful for her.

Even though I have had a hard week, I truly am blessed because of the inspiring people I have in my life.
